New Grasscutter for the Village

The Parish Council has recently invested in a ‘ride-on’ grass cutter and trailer in order to keep some of the rural footpaths around the village clear and tidy.

The Parish Chair, Neal Yates is currently using the grass cutter to the footpath that runs by Camblesforth Hall and as the above photo compared with below show, (before and after) this has already resulted in a great improvement for anyone who uses the walk.  He will also be cutting Camela Lane and other hard to get to areas – in his last Chairman’s Annual Review speech, Cllr Yates spoke about a strategy to improve the appearance of the village for all its residents – maintaining rural paths is another example of this and we hope all residents are happy with what the Parish Council is trying to achieve for everyone’s benefit.
