NEW LEGAL REQUIREMENTS REGARDING QR CODE
You may be aware that from Thursday 24 September it will be a legal requirement for hospitality, tourism, leisure, and close contact service businesses to display official NHS QR code posters. This will allow people to check-in at different premises once the new NHS Covid app is rolled out nationally.
Businesses will need to create their own posters with personalised codes for their business. Here is a link to the NHS information and resource web page: https://www.covid19.nhs.uk/information-and-resources.html which will show you how to create your QR code.
Selby District Council have updated the Covid business page on the website and will be posting something on social media today.
